The North of England Agricultural School was founded by The Society of Friends in 1841 in Great Ayton, Yorkshire. This book tells the story of its founding and its first 50 years over 13 chapters, with many references to (and illustrations of) the members of the Society of Friends who supported it. The book also lists the staff of the School plus the 818 boys and 706 girls who attended the School during those years.
