The directory covers the whole of the county, giving brief notes on each town and village as well as lists of people running businesses. Within Nottingham, entries are alphabetical within business type but in the smaller towns and villages entries are listed alphabetically by name.
There is some minor fading but all pages are legible.
Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight; this is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
